Blueball Mountain Spindle & Needleworks......1.0
Not being a techie literate person, I dread going into codes and languages that are not Roman based. So I took Sister Diane's Blog Tune Up Workshop ( http://www.craftypod.com/2010/01/06/its-coming-the-next-craft-blog-tune-up-class/ )to get a little hand holding while I revamped the old blog. Remember that was one of my major goals for the Year and part of my Craft or Bust Pledge too. I think I've burned my retinas out by looking at a gazillion blogs, websites and tutorials but I was gently led through the process by the incredible group also in the class. Being the careful (read obsessive) person that I am, I've changed things so many times that I missed the deadline. I'm one day late but here at last is the new header...for now. There are still halfa gazillion tweeks left to do on it but I thought I would aire out to the public. Another great concept from Sister Di is The Power of 1.0. This will be revised. But for now....it's out there. I would love opinions and ideas! Share!

Ravelympics - Craft or Bust
This week I was able to keep my pledge to Craft or Bust: I started a new yarn with the help of this wonderful COLORBombIts Kit custom made by the ever colorful Ms Velma. Now I am also a COLORBOMBer in the Ravelympics, an annual fun event on Ravelry. My challenge is to spin a fabulous yarn from all these gorgeous goodies combined with my own hand dyed cormo and firestar roving. Yesterday, I spun a thick and thin single with the cormo roving. Another single will be made with the goodies wrapped and coiled around it. These will then be plied to create a bulky yarn that will be knit up into a thick cowl during the Olympics. Fun!

What was your week like?
