More Yarn I Spun

Here is the most recent yarn I've done. On top of the pile is a sky blue blended with natural moorit (brownish gold). This is a 2 ply bulky yarn. I haven't weighed it but it 's a total of of about 200 yeards. The black is a true black , naturally colored, 2 ply yarn from my Ram Lincloln first shearing. It is so soft and warm. Shetland wool is just so yummy feeling and the natural colors are so soothing. Also shown is a natural creamy white , single ply, and a natural grey, single ply. A little chocolate brown is also peeking out from underneath. Back to the carding machine I go!

Spin Spin Spin

Here 's some of the yarn I spun up last week from my Shetlands. These are sinlgle ply, natural colors don up in a bulky weight 'artisan' style. Ha! that means it's kinda lumpy and and nubby! Not for your fine scarves but will make a nice warm hat or mittons. More pictures of 2 ply and colors coming soon's I get them off the camera.
